My goal with 814Tours is to provide quality photography in my home state of Pennsylvania.

After spending the first five years of my digital media career in Denver, CO, working for various companies, I moved back to rural Pennsylvania. I quickly noticed that many communities between the larger, well-known cities often lack digital media providers. This realization hit home when my wife and I were searching for a house. We relied on family, friends, and standard listing photos to make our decision, but nothing could replace an actual walkthrough. After making the 24-hour drive from Colorado to Pennsylvania, we stepped through the front door of our new home—only to realize our perception of the space was completely off.

That experience inspired me to give back to my community by helping others avoid the same challenge. I love the “smaller” communities in our corner of the country, and if I can play even a small role in encouraging more people to move here, I’d consider that a success.
